Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two-time unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
