Note: Spoilers for Episode 3 of this adventure follow below.
The Warrior Group Revealed
Episode 3 ended with a major cliffhanger and revealed the initial group of adventurers who will separate from the primary party to embark on their own adventure, distinct from the additional parties.
The combat-focused team features Teor (played by Travis Willingham), the agile character (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).
Dividing the Cast
Given an extensive roster, it was obvious from the outset that keeping everyone at the same party would be unworkable.
Hence, the initial installments of this story serve as an Introduction, weaving together the characters’ stories before dividing into three smaller tables: Warriors, Strategists, and Questers.
Characteristics of the Soldiers Table
Per the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who enjoy a classically intense battle-oriented gameplay experience where diplomatic options are few and far between.
Initially, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander Halovar might look out of place, but the events of the third episode make it clear why these five characters are best suited for the warrior group.
Reasons to Leave
To begin with, the team understands precisely where to proceed after a brutal initial meeting with the enemy group.
Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose passing kicked off the narrative’s action—exploited the enemy for his selfish purposes, entering Thjazi’s hideout, attacking the character, and taking all the magical artifacts to dispose of.
The antagonist then paid off his obligations and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, above the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.
Personal Motivations
Additionally, each member has a personal reason to depart the urban setting:
- The agile hero, as the close ally and trusted friend, desires retribution.
- The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the northern area and warns that it is a dangerous environment.
- The warrior and Wicander, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to kill the fighter and instead freed him, have nowhere else to go.
- However, their reputation as prominent individuals in House Halovar could help the group enter places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
- Furthermore, The grateful character vowed a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his rescue and will now accompany him everywhere.
Fugitives
Lastly, all of them are hunted by the powers that rule the setting for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city dangerous:
- The agile adventurer and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
- The warrior and Wicander defied House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
- The target is marked for death by the clan.
This means them little choice but to travel to Timmony in quest for Casimir.

According to episode three’s post-show segment, we learn that the Soldiers table won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight participants to assemble the Seekers and Planners parties.
